Dear visitors and prospective students,

I would like to say welcome to you in behalf of Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics faculty members, administrative personnel and our students. Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics consists of two sections as Aeronautical Engineering and Astronautical Engineering. Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics accepted students for the first time in 2012. Currently, 14 faculty members serve in our faculty. To date, 187 aeronautical/astronautical engineering students graduated including international students. At present a total of 415 engineering students (276 aeronautical engineering and 139 astronautical engineering) continue their education

The projections realized by prominent institutions such as Goldman Sachs and Deloitte show that there will be a continuous growth in the field of Aerospace-Defense and Space. Consequently, we can foresee that university students graduated from these fields will be highly demanded with better wages.

Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics associates with research institutions and industrial corporations operate in the Aerospace-Defense and Space fields. Our students gain experience in these companies as summer interns starting from 2nd year. Additionally, prosperous students with high grades are selected as engineer candidates by these companies. These students are permitted to work with pay one or two days in each week during their third and fourth years.

TAI, TÜBİTAK-Uzay, TÜBİTAK-SAGE, Roketsan, Onur-Air, THY, Havelsan, STM, and Delta Roket are some leading companies in which our graduated students are employed. In addition, some of our students continue their education in graduate schools both in national and international universities.

I recommend students which interested with Aerospace-Defense and Space sector should carefully examine our Aeronautical Engineering and Astronautical Engineering web pages in detail. I would like to invite prospective students to our faculty to talk with our faculty members and current students whenever they want.
