Dear visitors and future students,

On behalf of the Turkish Aeronautical Association University Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences faculty, administrative staff and our dear students, I welcome you to our faculty page. Our faculty consists of 2 departments, namely Aeronautical Engineering and Astronautical Engineering. A total of 16 lecturers work in our Faculty, which started to accept students in 2012. Up to date, 534 aerospace engineers have graduated from our faculty, including foreign students. Currently, a total of 605 students continue their education, 364 of which are in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering and 241 in the Department of Astronautical Engineering.

Studies conducted by institutions such as Goldman Sachs and Deloitte show us that there will be a continuous growth in the Aerospace sector every year. Therefore, it is predicted that students studying in these fields will be able to find jobs more easily and with higher wages.

Our faculty is in close cooperation with research institutions and industrial companies operating in the field of aviation and space. Our students can conduct internships in leading aviation and space-themed companies starting from their second year, and our students with high GPA's can work as a candidate engineer in these companies for one or two days a week, within the framework of agreements made.

TAI, TÜBİTAK-Uzay, TÜBİTAK-SAGE, Vestel Savunma, Roketsan, THY, Havelsan, STM and DeltaV are among the main institutions where our graduates work. In addition, our students who want to continue their working life at universities are able to receive postgraduate education at both domestic and foreign universities.

I suggest students who are interested in the Aeronautics-Defense and Space sector to check the pages of Aeronautical Engineering and Astronautical Engineering for more detailed information, and I invite them to our faculty to meet with our faculty and students whenever they want.
